Prices

After several emails asking about pricing, I've decided to go ahead and put some prices up on the site.

The price or a fondant cake really depends on how many people you'd like it to serve. Materials for a fondant cake cost roughly 1$ per person, and that can vary depending on what type of fondant you'd like (marshmallow or traditional) and what the design of your cake is (a tiered cake is generally more expensive then a sheet cake and so on.)

A good estimate for how much your cake will cost is to take the number of people you'd like your cake to serve and multiply it by 35%. That is, if your event calls for a 30 person cake, you can expect your custom fondant cake to cost about 40$.
Of course, that's just an estimation tool, and the cost of your cake could be higher or lower, but its entirely up to you.

My other sweets and treats are priced as follows (though are subject to change based on your exact needs):

New York Style Cheesecake - 10$
Cheesecake - 8$
Fruit Pie - 8$
Pudding Pie - 6$
Traditonal Cut Out Cookies/plain - 3$/dz Frosted - 4$/dz Frosted & Decorated -5$/dz
Cupcakes Frosted - 5$/dz Fondant Decorated - $8/dz
Mini Cupcakes Frosted - 2$/dz Fondant Decorated 4$/dz

So, I hope this answers some questions you may have! Thanks again.

Up and Running!

Hi there!

Thanks for your interest in my creations.
A Little about me: I started baking at a very young age, my grandmother used to make pies and cakes, cakes and treats all the time. It didn't take long before I was following right in her footsteps, and we've always had one thing in common - where ever we went people were raving about our confections! To this day, my Grammy's New York Style Cheesecake is still my favorite recipe to bake. A couple years ago I picked up an advanced cake decorating book, (I was looking to make my son's 1st Birthday cake myself) and took off running, not looking back since. Now I am focusing on make Fondant and Buttercreme cake decorating, but I never pass up the chance to whip up a batch of Peppermint thumbprint cookies, or some chewy homemade pretzels. My friends can tell you that its rare to come over and not be presented with a few sweet treats. :)

Thanks for supporting me and my dream,

Lynn Hitchens
